Pan-Seared Salmon

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 lemon (juice and zest)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Pat salmon dry and season both sides with salt and pepper
  2. Heat olive oil in skillet over medium-high heat
  3. Place salmon skin-side down and cook for 5 minutes without moving
  4. Flip salmon and cook for 4 more minutes until cooked through
  5. Remove salmon from pan
  6. Add butter and garlic to the pan, cook for 1 minute
  7. Add lemon juice, zest, and dill. Stir to combine
  8. Pour lemon butter sauce over salmon and serve immediately
